Nothing like a "One cent licence plate frame." That actually costs $7.00 including shipping which is more than the product originally costs.
Same deal goes with stickers, $7.00 for a sticker. Yeah. Right. Tons of other parts manufacturers give away free stickers, I don't see why Ecs has to do this. I used to be pretty loyal to them.
Good luck getting any more business from me!

I'm going to pay to advertise for you?
Don't think so

Right? I originally just wanted to represent my favorite Audi parts website. But not for $7.00. Other companies give out free stuff to advertise for them.

I understand them not wanting to spend a lot shipping them for free to hundreds of people, but they could throw them in with orders. Bimmerworld gives you stickers AND gummy bears with each order.

WHAT YOU GET FREE GUMMY BEARS?
Another independent shop sends out free stickers to whoever wants them, the shipping is fast and they're super professional. I know of other companies that send out free stickers with their orders also, Ecs might. I don't exactly remember.

They don't. I've ordered from them probably 5 times (oil change kits) and never have got any.

Jeez, If I were in charge of them I'd just throw in some for free. They might have their own sticker printing machine, but then again they might not.

Either way $7 for stickers is ridiculous. They could just throw them in an envelope and put a stamp on it.

Right? They might as well not even call it a "one cent" sale because it isn't a one cent sale.

I bought parts from ECS for my transmission rebuild They were one of the only non-dealer, non-shady sources to have new OEM bearings for an old BMW trans, and their prices were significantly below dealer listings. They also listed exactly when the parts would ship, and they were accurate, which helped me make decisions on project timing. Just my experience. They definitely have a repeat customer with me.
I also ordered some stuff from Jeg's and got 3 sheets of giant stickers, which I promptly threw away because I just don't care about stickers. This is nothing against Jeg's, but I wouldn't turn away from a retailer just because they don't give away free shwag.

I'm not judging them based on their free stickers much, that was just something that was discussed in the comments.
The thing that I was voicing my opinion about was their "One penny sale" which wasn't actually a sale at all.

I completely agree. They are so ripped off. Everything is ridiculously overpriced.

Haha, Some things are sometimes on really great sales. But some times, they're just a tad to a lot overpriced.

Yeah, I feel the same way.
